Welcome to the Lone Star Flavors Kitchen! I'm Alice, and I come from a rich blend of Liberian, Ghanaian, and Egyptian backgrounds. I'm a proud mother of three beautiful children, and our life journey has been centered in Atlanta, GA. Cooking holds a special place in my heart; it's a skill that flows naturally within me, undoubtedly passed down by my wonderful mother.

Reflecting on my life, I fondly recall Sunday mornings filled with the soulful tunes of artists like Tina Turner, Lionel Richie, and Whitney Houston, as my mother worked her magic in the kitchen. The tantalizing aroma of her dishes enveloped our home, making those Sundays a cherished time for us to connect and bond. It was her way of expressing love, a sentiment that I hold dear.

Though I didn't have the privilege of sharing as many years with my mother as I would have wished, I carry on her legacy by imparting these same culinary experiences to my children. I've discovered that my meals not only nourish the body but also build new connections and foster genuine conversations with my dear friends.
